Your data and privacy

Li Liu, an individual based in China, operates IntersectionDesk and is responsible for the personal data handled by this service. Contact service@intersectiondesk.com for privacy questions or requests.

1. Information we process

2. Why we use it

We use this information to provide accounts and saved projects, send verification and password-reset messages, process subscription access, prevent misuse, resolve billing and technical issues, and understand service usage. Where applicable, the relevant bases include providing the requested service, legitimate interests in security and service operation, legal obligations, and consent where required.

3. Cookies and browser storage

Session cookies maintain sign-in and protect account requests. Browser storage remembers interface preferences such as language and editor display settings. Our first-party analytics uses country and usage statistics and hashed identifiers. These analytics are separate from saved project content. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in.

4. Service providers and international processing

Infrastructure providers host the application and stored data. Resend delivers account emails. Mapbox provides maps and location search and receives requests associated with those features. When payment is enabled, Paddle handles checkout, payment methods, invoices, tax and payment-related compliance under its own privacy terms. Data may be processed outside your country, including where our hosting and providers operate. We use access controls and appropriate safeguards as required.

Provider information: Paddle, Resend, and Mapbox.

5. Retention and deletion

Saved projects are retained by default and are not automatically deleted because a subscription ends. You may delete projects through the application. Contact us to request account deletion or information about your data. Security, billing, legal records and backups may be retained where needed for their purposes or applicable obligations; deleting a project does not necessarily immediately remove every backup copy.

6. Your requests and security

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal data. Contact the email above; we may verify your identity before responding. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority. These requests are separate from any paid Vissim export feature.

We use HTTPS, password hashing and account-based access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

7. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and provide any additional notice required for material changes.
